This auction is for an All felt girl doll by doll artist Maggie Iacono who is "Elizabeth", issued in 1991, she is a limited edition of #89/250 made world-wide. Sold as Elizabeth she measures 16” tall and is signed by her artist on the bottom of her foot. "Elizabeth" is a displayed doll, please click on photos to enlarge and view details, she may need a light overall cleaning, nothing terrible. She has a pressed felt face with painted features included brown eyes, there is a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, she has brush stroked brown eyebrows and closed mouth.  She has unique applied ears, see photos. Her light brown mohair wig has bangs and a ponytail, a few hairs out of place but charming. She is jointed at the neck, shoulders and hips with mitten type hands, she is jointed well and displays fine.  "Elizabeth" wears her original outfit consisting of a camel wool coat lined with a cotton floral print, a dress of the same floral print, lace-trimmed pantaloons, white socks, and brown leather shoes. She has a cloche-style hat made of brown felt with a ribbon band, I notice a few "tiny holes" in her felt hat.  I do not see any tiny holes in her coat or dress, she holds a a fur muff. There is a paper label sewn to the back of the coat that says "Maggie Made Dolls & Bears Elizabeth 89 / 250, Marrie Iacono. "Elizabeth" would surely be a "Treasure" for collection or display! I have taken plenty of photos. Please look at my photos they will serve as part of this description.
