This cap is in EXCELLENT condition. The GF of the cap bands are pretty clean. There are NO cap lip cracks. The cap screws securely onto the barrel's threads. The clip is pretty clean though there is wear commensurate with use. The filling system has been overhauled with a new major sized diaphragm. It works wonderfully and has been lubricated to improve function. There is barrel ambering such that you can see through the pen when it is empty but you would have to look through a strong light if it is filled with ink.

This Parker Vacumatic Lockdown Standard fountain pen has been cleaned and tested for function (filling and writing). It is READY TO WRITE upon filling with standard fountain pen ink.
- A new correctly sized (26.5 mm) latex Major Diaphram has been installed
- The 14K solid gold nib has been adjusted for smoothness and flow. Beyond making sure that the pens I restore write, I like to make sure they write well. Using a loupe, premium micro-abrasives, and when necessary, specially made nib repair tools each nib is carefully adjusted to provide an enjoyable writing experience based on the particular characteristics of the nib.
- This Parker Vacumatic fountain pen has been fully disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and conservatively polished.
I only ship my pens in very durable telescopic pen packaging tubes (that are reusable too so please keep them). The pen is held in place in the tube with foam inserts. In the shipping box the pen tube is wrapped in bubble wrap and secured in place with packing peanuts.
In the US I will be shipping the pens for FREE.
