This toy is from the personal collection of Bruce Fox, 30+ year employee of Fisher-Price, historian and author of "Fisher-Price-Historical, Rarity, and Value Guide, 1931-Present".

#365 Puppy Back-Up was introduced in 1932 for 5 years. Not particularly hard to find, but this example IS due to its original oil cloth ears, tongue, wooden tail and working walking motor. This toy was in my collection for many years. It became a duplicate when i acquired a better example at auction. Puppy back-Up is one of the 9 wind-up early Fisher-Price toys, and therefor a must have for the serious collector.
