CAP and BARREL
This cap is in EXCELLENT condition. The GF of the clip is pretty clean. There are NO dings OR dents to the cap. The cap catches securely onto the clutch ring. The barrel is smooth and free from any defects or damage. The filling system has been serviced with a new debutante sized diaphragm. It works wonderfully and has been lubricated to improve function. The imprints are pretty well preserved 
PARKER 51 14K SOLID GOLD NIB

This Parker 51 fountain pen features its original tubular 14K solid gold nib. This nib is smooth and is good for general writing and fast note taking as most Parker 51s are. The breather tube has been cleaned. The nib is properly aligned to the feed. 
RESTORATION SERVICES
This vintage Parker 51 Vacumatic fountain pen has been cleaned and tested for function (filling and writing). It is READY TO WRITE upon filling with standard fountain pen ink.
  • A new correctly sized (26.5 mm) latex Debutatne Diaphram has been installed 
  • The 14K solid gold nib has been adjusted for smoothness and flow. Beyond making sure that the pens I restore write, I like to make sure they write well. Using a loupe, premium micro-abrasives, and when necessary, specially made nib repair tools each nib is carefully adjusted to provide an enjoyable writing experience based on the particular characteristics of the nib. 
  • This Parker 51 Vacumatic fountain pen has been fully disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and conservatively polished.
