NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS

from 1971, this figure / trophy was given away as part of the

MISS GHOST AMERICA CONTEST beauty pageant promotion

MGM studios ran to celebrate the release of the NIGHT OF DARK SHADOWS movie

approx 4.5" high and made of soft vinyl or rubber, the figure has the likeness of the 'haunting beauty' ghost woman from the pageant ad campaign

BEWARE of The Night of Dark Shadows 

is written in raised lettering around the front of the base

 there is a string coming out of a hole in top of the head so the figure can hang up

overall excellent condition with no damage or wear, somewhat dusty from storage and maybe a couple of small discolored spots from age but I didn't want to risk damaging the old vinyl with any kind of cleaner to find out

based on the color I would guess the figure was originally made to glow in the dark but if so it doesn't work any more, I'm sure the green base would still glow with a black light
