An Old Rare Authentic 1920's Soviet Epoch USSR Propaganda SEWING MACHINE with 
Soviet Union Coat of Arms 6 Bands - Republics. and Inscriptions 'GosShveyMashina'. The Singer Sewing Machine Factory was nationalized after Great October Revolution and renamed to GOSSHVEYMASHINA - literally 'State Sewing Machine'. L=20" (51 cm),  H=12 3/4" (32.5 cm). Weight 33 pounds (15 kg). Made in USSR circa 1920. Vintage condition, we did not check if it is working or not - see photo for all details. Very nice designs and extremely rare item. I am selling this item from Ukraine now, the post is working a little slow, but as usual dependable. I was born in the USSR and I was 26 years old when Ukraine became independent in 1991 in accordance with Article 3 of Treaty on the Creation of the USSR (1922, December 30). I know very well the difference between living in a totalitarian country and living in a free one. These items are historical memorabilia, just to remember this time, so that totalitarian regime doesn't happen again in the future. I believe that Ukraine has the right to exist as a free and independent nation and I am participating in charity projects in Ukraine now.
