This is a heavy kilt which looks quite old and would definitely benefit from dry cleaning it has that old smell. I thought perhaps I should steam cream but not sure that would be ok? It will definitely need cleaning 

It looks hand made and has been adjusted. It looks like it used to button close but button holes have been stitched up and buckles put in place

No labels that i can see

Material feels like real heavy wool tartan, I think it is Macbeth but please check out the photos 

Top few inches have a lining which is a little worn in places

The wrap over section has a button to close, not the usual buckle for adjustment

Opposite side has 2 buckles to close, which look hand stitched

Kilt measures 28 at waist with the adjustment of the length of the straps at the side

Length is 24”

Beautiful kilt in mostly very good condition

Also selling another the same size and a larger more modern kilt as well as Prince Charlie Jacket waistcoat and shirt
