Anglo Indian Folk Art Game Board Engraved Brass Figures and Animals

RossGallery presents a unique, handmade, folk art game board from India (I believe). It is heavily engraved with many human figures and animals. The brass surface is wrapped around a wooden base. There are four holes in the back, but I'm not sure if it once had table legs or just some risers. Whatever the case, I imagine that this was commissioned at some point by a British occupier. If you happen to collect Indian art or old game boards, I am certain that you'll have nothing else quite like this.

Condition:  Good condition overall with normal surface wear and some verdigris. Any bright white spots that you see may be studio light glare.
Age:  Circa late 19th to mid 20th c.
Markings:  Unsigned.
Country of Origin:  Made in India (I believe. You can feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about this).
Material:  Brass and wood.
Measurements:  Roughly 19¾" x 19¾" x 1" thick.
Weight:  9.6 lbs.
