I'm selling this laptop for a friend. They have owned it for many years, but did not buy it new.

The chassis, screen, etc... are from an early 2013 MacBook Pro Retina 15" (see serial number on the case). However, the logic board shows early 2015 MacBook Air (see picture with different serial number). This is strange because the 2015 Macbook Air didn't come with the specs shown.

This model suffers from the GPU issue which is known in this generation. It will occasionally boot to recovery mode and sometimes boot to Safe Mode. I successfully installed macOS 10.8.5 (Mountain Lion) and upgraded to 10.10 (Maverick). However, upon updating to Catalina the laptop stopped booting.

Selling for parts, the screen is in good shape as is the chassis. The rubber feet are missing from the bottom along with 2 screws. It includes the MagSafe 2 85w Power Adapter.
