Very good condition considering its age.

Very old unusual locket. Much thicker than newer lockets.

The tiny pearl in the middle of the clover fleur de leis design is real.

The red stones all have a different cut to them, so they didn’t come from a mold. They protrude quite a bit from their settings.

There is some discoloration around where the raised designs are. I don’t know if this can be polished off or not, I didn’t try. I don’t want to risk anything happening to it

There looks to be blonde colored hair inside one of the locket panels.

The locket appears to have glass coverings over the photo areas. They don’t feel like plastic at all. Sound like glass when I tap them.

The other side is holding something that seems like old embossed paper.

I don’t see any marks on the locket.

There do appear to be some marks on the older style spring ring clasp of the necklace but they are worn down.
