Silverplated WARMER / CHAFING DISH STAND made for THE BILTMORE hotel by Gorham. Bottom is marked "THE BILTMORE 1913 GM Co. EP 02808". "B" crests on each of the 4 legs. Good preowned condition: no heavy damage, but there is a small crack where one leg meets the lower bowl, see last photo. This has lived the typical hard life of hotelware and has the marks of medium to heavy use wear.
A piece of hotel history! Maybe it's time to repurpose this and let it be seen again.
