1995 Press Photo Tony Genouesa snaps picture of West Jefferson Air Force Ball

This is an original press photo. School yearbook coordinator, and English teacher Tony Genouesa snaps one for the yearbook. The West Jefferson High School Air Force Junior R.O.T.C. Held its Annual military ball at the Naval Support Activities Center in Algier's Saturday night. Students in the West Jefferson A.F.J.R.O.T.C. Have been preparing themselves for this event to a series of classes on military etiquette and conduct, and were responsible their own, and there date's conduct at the formal event. While at the ball, cadets, officers, and guests, went through a military receiving line, a buffet, (soft) drinks, a dance, and at the end, a formal crowning of a king and queen of the ball. The unit has been operational since 1972, and was the first program of its type in Jefferson Parish Photo measures 8 x 10.25 inches. Photo is dated 01-20-1995.
