Vintage Monogram 1/24th scale Racing 1955 Chevy Hardtop slot car with helmeted driver!!!

The wheels and motor spin freely and the car runs. The tires are still soft and useable.

It is missing one tail light cover. There are decals on it even on the roof!!

The hood~scoop is in fabulous condition!!

Centerline rims, all present.

‘Chrome’ bumpers front and back.

The ‘built~in’ driver has a helmet and appears to be concentrating on 🏁🏁winning 🏁🏁the race!!

The underside marked Monogram .

This is over 60 years old. The body has some areas of discoloration, perhaps glue, some of which you really have to look for. This car is ready to be cleaned up and raced or just displayed.

The windshield is ‘cloudy’ to me.

There’s a small area on 1 side that looks like someone tried or did remove a decal, perhaps where the bodies exterior looks sanded/filed’??? Maybe could be dremel~buffed out?
