These pipes belonged to my dad who smoked in the 1950’s and 1960’s.  Most of them are very well worn.
I do not know anything about pipes so I have not tried to clean them, take them apart, or anything.

I have done some research to find out what they are, based on the inscriptions on them and am listing each one below.  I took some random photos and did not label them so please ask me any questions if you have a question about a specific pipe.  I have done my best to describe them accurately.

1) Imported Briar 60B (or P) , I can’t really tell. This one is cracked on the section that holds the bowl.  I have shown this in one of the photos.

2) Sunny Brook Italian Briar.  This one is in good condition.  It has a white dot on the section that has the mouthpiece and that section is straight.

3) Drinkless Kaywoodie.  This is the shortest pipe of all.  It’s about 4 1/4 inches in total length.  It has a white clover on the black section that holds the mouthpiece.  I do believe there is a small crack on the piece that holds the bowl, right where the 2 sections connect.  I did not notice this when I was taking photos.

4) Yello-Bole Imported Briar.  I cannot read what is inscribed between the “Yello-Bole” and the “Imported Briar” but it is in what looks like cursive writing.  It has the clover leaf stamp with what looks like “KBB” stamped in it which indicates it was made in 1955 or earlier.  It has a red dot on the underside of the mouthpiece section. It is in good condition with a straight mouthpiece which is yellow in color.

5) Kaywoodie White Briar Imported Briar #98B.  Based on what I can tell from my research, this is a Squat Bulldog with a Saddle Bit but I could be mistaken.  This one is well worn with visible bite/saliva marks on the mouthpiece.  It comes with the original cloth storage bag.

6) An Authentic Imported Briar. Pipe by Lee Limited Edition.  This one has sort of swirl carvings on the bowl piece and 2 white stars on the black mouthpiece section. It has visible bite/saliva marks on the mouthpiece.

7) Made in Italy.  This is a pretty wood with a reddish tint.  I can’t find any other markings on it. It is in very good condition.  You can tell it has been used but not a lot.  It has more curve than any of the others.

8) Authentic Imported Briar.  This is the only marking I see on this one.  It has visible bite/saliva marks on the mouthpiece.

9) ???  This pipe has black tape around where the 2 pieces connect so I cannot tell what it is.  However, based on the rest, the wood looks very much like the other Briars.  It has a white marking on top of the black mouthpiece section that looks like an “F” but it could be another letter that has partially worn away.

Also included in the auction is a Kaywoodie pamphlet that also has pictures and descriptions of all the Kaywoodie pipes.

Please see all photos and ask seller any questions before bidding as I do not accept returns.
