This gorgeous handcrafted display plate was produced painstakingly by artisans of the Orient.

The picture is actually intricately carved into the red cinnabar lacquer (not the timber)

This amazing plate depicts fishermen in their boat on the river

- there are mountains and trees, a temple, and even traditional houses in the background.

This rather striking plate is of a reasonable size with a diameter of 24.5cm.

There are no chips or scratches, though there does appear to be a little restorative work to the rim at the base

- overall the plate displays beautifully as the repair is difficult to detect.
