DESCRIPTION:  A wonderful find, the stamp is the GENUINE US# 449 COIL with distinct Type I characteristics, perforated 10 horizontally and having the all important rotary press design which measures 19 x 22.5 mm; the cover was sent by the Northwestern Knitting Co., with the stamp nicely tied by MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. - JUNE 3, 1916 postmark.
