The unit will power on (with a faceplate, not included), but there is NO AUDIO OUTPUT. Upon inspection of the inside, the mother board has a damaged chip, and two torn off capacitors as shown in the image.

CD Mech and laser are still perfectly functional, and other than the damage, this unit is a new open-box item. When hooked up, everything appears to work except no audio to the speakers.
