2008 Saab TTiD Aero Sportwagon listed as spares or repairs

Snow silver with heated black leather & white inserts. Stage 2 remap by Darren at Nordic Tuning with Pre Cat, DPF and EGR deleted and mapped out giving 265 BHP and 380 lbs ft Torque (520nm)

Bought as a short term workhorse last summer and in the time I've owned it I've done 18,000 miles and it's been great. It's been 100% reliable and regularly covered 250 miles a day for my job. It's seriously rapid mid range yet still does 45-50 mpg.

It's done it's job for me now and I've listed it as spares or repairs on a no reserve auction mainly due to the tatty bodywork. It has rusty rear arches, rust appearing at base of the front wings, the front bumper has some damage to the lower grill, the rear bumper is scratched through the paint, the drivers side front wing has a dent/crease and the rear passenger door is dented as shown in the pictures. It also needs a couple of rear anti-roll bar drop links that were advisories on the last MOT and to be honest the nearside rear does need doing soon as it noticeably clunks on rough roads. Other than that, there's not too much else apart from a loose exhaust heatshield that sometimes rattles.
As with most remapped diesels it does put out black smoke under full boost, this isn't a fault as such, it's just the way it is with masses of boost! It still passes the MOT smoke test with no problems but I just wanted to mention it.

In my ownership, I've fitted a new front pipe & flexi to the exhaust (also an advisory on the MOT) New rear Monroe gas shocks and top mounts, RTJ Saab specialist did the oil pick up seal, it's had 3 oil changes with Genuine Saab 0W 40 oil (every 6,000 miles) and I've literally just fitted new Mintex rear discs & pads 200 miles ago plus new front pads. The engine, gearbox and clutch are all good and it's MOT'd until October. The interior is pretty good for the age and mileage, there is of course some wear to the drivers seat bolster and there is some white paint on the carpet in the passenger footwell but otherwise all good.

There's a huge pile of receipts for servicing and repairs as well as a stamped service book and original bookpack. The cambelt & water pump were done in April '21 at 133K so not due for a good while (the interval is 10 years or 90K miles) It's also had new twin turbo's & manifold at some point plus I've had the oil pick up done at 161K so none of the big jobs are looming.

A perfect Q car or sleeper, totally standard looks with a huge surprise for drivers of prestige german cars that want to read the small print on your rear number plate if you catch my drift ;-)

Message if you'd like to view, the car isn't being used now, it's kept at my work unit so I'll need notice to get to it. Postcode is SK4 1NU
