Offered a hand-painted antique Georgian, likely from the 1820s, porcelain tea cup and saucer decorated overglaze in Chinoisery style, with vibrant and well preserved enamels. The set is in a relatively good condition with some rather expected signs of age and wear, and various minor imperfections of glazing. While the cup has no damage, the saucer has a few glazing hairlines, a few very minor in the middle of the top surface, but also a few more pronounced underneath, two across the foot and a couple of very small ones to the side of it. The pair comes together with another identically decorated cup that has a damage to the top of the handle, and various imperfections of the glazing. The second matching saucer also has a small chip to the edge of the rim, mostly visible from underneath but no other visible damage.
