This striking and rare pin cushion half doll is a must-have for any pin doll collector.  With its intricate detailing and beautiful design, it is sure to add a touch of elegance to any collection. Almost certainly made in Germany, though it lacks a maker’s mark or number, it is thought to be made by Volkstedter.

The doll is in excellent overall condition, with no visible flaws or damage and there are no firing flaws or under-glaze blemishes. 

The hat and adornments are nothing short of spectacular. The hands are well detailed with faint tints of pink and fingernails etc., Please study the photos and please ask any questions. Its large size and unique design make this this gorgeous specimen sure to impress.

Note that it is standing on a specially made hardwood base to prevent it falling and this will be supplied with it.

Prospective U.S.A. bidders/purchasers please note that we recently had a perfectly packed parcel (fortunately not containing a doll, but a book and thankfully insured under eBay GSP scheme), was badly damaged after leaving the UK, presumably by the U.S Postal service. On another occasion, a parcel containing several pincushion dolls was 'undelivered' despite the address being perfect and the addressee personally chasing it up at her local Post Office. This was returned to UK and we posted it back, but it cost us an extra £26.00 to do so. Thus, any delivery problems which may occur after it leaves these shores we regret we cannot be held responsible for. It will of course be insured and very well packed for any country to which it may be sent - including UK of course.
