for your consideration is this lovely hand painted chocolate pot the rim folds over to hold the lid from falling off as pictured. 

1st one I've seen. painted are large pink poppy flowers in green foliage. side of the chocolate is rounded like the shape of a melon. detailed scrolled in the porcelain around the top. lid has a gold ribbon for a handle. 

piece stands 8-7/8 inches from base to top of handle. base to rim is 7-3/4 inches. rim measures 3-3/4 X 3 inches wide. 

top part of the handle flows into the side and painted with gold. 

there are no makers marking.
