Thinning out my 30+ year collection of great Baltimore Maryland and Carroll County soda, beer and whiskey bottles.  Any references to a # are from the 2019 edition of Baltimore’s Pre-Prohibition Breweries & Bottles (also available on ebay).

Please look at the pictures carefully.  I can provide additional pictures upon request.

Offered for sale is # 1500 in amber loopseal.  Frank's "Eagle Bottling House" was in business from 1893-1917.  Originally bottling beer for other Baltimore breweries such as VonderHorst and then under the name Eagle Bottling House, he this started bottling drinks under just his own name with products such as Extra Pale and Standard Beers, Ales, Porters and Brown Stouts.  This bottle was manufactured in Maryland by the Severn Glass Company, Annapolis, MD.  This example displays well with nice internal bubbles and strong embossing.  There is internal staining a potstone on the rear has a couple 1/4 inch radiating cracks.  While this bottle was unlisted in the last addition of the Baltimore book noted above 3-4 examples have come forward.  A rare bottle but with issues.  Price reflects those issues.

Embossed as:
