Description:  A wonderful deco styled locomotive, was produced by Steelcraft, a division of Murray-Ohio Manufacturing circa 1939.  It is an impressive 2 feet long and 10 inches tall.  What makes it even more special, is that it was designed by famed industrial designer Viktor Schreckengost.  Obviously, it was designed in the sit-&-ride style, and accordingly, it is of such strong construction that it easily supports the weight of a child.  The wheels are steel.  The stylized handle at the top-front of the locomotive is the steering device.

Please note that my photos include a photographed copy of a marketing document for the Schreckengost line of toys.  This photo document is included free to the new buyer.  It is a direct of a pre-distribution "mark-up" of design, price and strategy, before the toy was actually produced.  The document is on an 8-1/2" by 11" sheet of photo paper, so it is suitable for framing.

Condition:  This toy is 100% original (including the wheels), and has had no touch ups, nor any repairs.  There is play wear that can be easily seen and assessed in the photos included in this listing.  The document is a photo copy of an original.

Guarantee:  I stand behind my description of this toy, and will provide a full refund (less shipping costs) if there is any material difference between it and the item you receive.  I try my best to conduct a thorough assessment of each toy, with a complete detailed description.  And, I provide a full compliment of high resolution photos.  However, I may not have addressed details that are of interest to you.  So please send your questions before you bid or buy, because I will respond to matters of your interest, and/or will provide additional photos if warranted.  But please be aware, my refund policy does not cover "buyers remorse".

Shipping:  I ship only to destinations in the continental USA (the lower 48 states).  I go to great lengths to protect the toys I sell by the methods and materials I use during the packaging process.  I want to be as sure as you do, that your item arrives at your destination without damage.  Buyer is to add $45 to cover costs of shipping and full insurance.  I generally ship via UPS (no signature required) which means the your item will need to be shipped to an address, not to a PO Box (UPS will not deliver to a PO Box).  However, I will consider other carriers can be considered if circumstances dictate.  Also, if you include your phone number and/or email, I can include that in when buying the shipping label so that you can be contacted by the carrier if needed.  So please let me know if you have any shipping issues.

Qualified Offers:  Buyer commitment and integrity are integral to a successful transaction.  I reserve the right to refuse to sell to a buyer if feedback history, and or delay in payment cast reasonable doubt on the success of a sale.
