This is one of several NASA films that I will be posting for consideration from my parents estate. Cool pieces of history!

This is a 16mm motion picture film of the Apollo 11 space flight. See top of can for description of film. As noted on film can, 34minutes in running time; in color; with sound. File No. MSC-70-527; 16mm film size; copy #63. This was my fathers personal copy, as it notes to RETURN TO A.E. McCoy. I can only offer a little info on it, as my father, A.E. McCoy has since passed and he would have so much more information on it than I would.... He traveled extensively for Eastman Kodak company in the 60's and 70's to promote the use of Kodak film on the NASA Space flights/missions.

The film appears to be in good used vintage condition. My father would show these at conferences and conventions as well as he often visited my brothers and my elementary school to show the films of Apollo missions to our class during this exciting time of space exploration.... as it states on the container; "Apollo 11- For All Mankind". This film has obviously not been viewed in several decades, but I do believe it is all intact and should work properly as any 16mm film would of this condition and age.

Not tested, but appears fine..... (last time I saw it, I was in elementary school and not really absorbing the impact it would have!)

My father worked at Kodak from approx. the late 1930's through the late 1970's. He started out in the paper mill and worked his way up through the company where he was the NASA Coordinator for film products (see photos of business cards) and our family became friendly with some of the astronauts and several key people within the NASA organization. I will continue to list several of the photos and memorabilia that my family has from the moon missions that we found among items in the family home when our parents passed.

I have a few other listing of the contractors promo 16mm films and will be listing more images of the Apollo missions that my father used when he gave lectures around the world discussing the relationship that Kodak products had with the NASA program. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I'm happy to combine shipping when possible.
