Here is a nice tall round maroon or brown color pyroglazed or pyro quart milk bottle from the Thatcher Thatcher's Dairy Farm Dairy Farms Farm Dairy Farms Dairy Farm dairy farm that once was operated and located in historic Martinsburg WV West Virginia in Berkeley Co. County WV. Front and back are different. The front says, "Thatcher's Dairy Martinsburg W. VA.". The back has a picture of Old King Cole and his merrymen and says, "Old King Cole was a merry old soul, And a merry old soul was he. He drank his milk from a golden bowl, And lived to be ninety three". This authentic milk bottle is from 1946 and is in good condition with no cracks, dings, chips, and only minor casewear. The pyro is mostly complete and bright, except for some wear on the end of Martinsburg as seen in the pictures and some wear on the back side as seen in the pictures. A nice addition for the collector of Martinsburg WV West Virginia or Berkeley Co. County WV milk bottles. I have been told that this is a hard to find milk bottle from Martinsburg WV.
