Taken flat, seam to seam, (so there will be a little wiggle room in the bust!) using a standard Dress-Maker’s tape measure. These are the MAXIMUM dimensions.
Fitting: All brands/designers measure differently from each other, so we have included the measurements for your convenience. Do not rely on the manufacturer’s sizing label!
All of the gowns sold by us are shop samples and have been tried on. There may be dust marks on the inside of the hem, or the occasional loose bead. This is reflected in the pricing of the gown. Otherwise, they are clean, unworn and ready for their special day!
Most gowns will need tailoring by a seamstress for the perfect fit. Gowns with zips can have these exchanged for a corset, which will add approximately 1 dress size to the top of the gown. Your seamstress can advise you on this. It’s an inexpensive task and can be done easily by any good seamstress.
Gowns can be downsized by 2 dress sizes.
