PLEASE
EXAMINE THE IMAGES and ask me any questions you think necessary.
My
items are used and secondary market items and not new merchandise. I
will describe carefully and also give my own impression of the
condition, but I am almost never an expert!
SHIPPING - is
USPS Priority Confirmed... Unless very light or very heavy or can be
sent by Media Mail. I may include other options, so CHECK THE
SHIPPING TAB.
COMBINED SHIPPING - If you are buying more than
one of my items, I will combine the items for shipping if it means
less cost to you. Please request or wait for a combined invoice
prior to making your payment!! I'm noticing that eBay does not
automatically combine items consistently.
BOOKS - Low
cost Media Mail (Which I think is as precious as libraries), can
sometimes take a long time! Please choose Priority Mail if you need
your book more quickly.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS - First class
while being the only affordable way to ship smaller parcels, can't be
tracked or found should it go astray. We can discuss this if the
package is less than 4 lbs and not costly.
If
your sterling charm has a rhodium finish:
Many people feel silver
jewelry should not be magnetic, and many high quality
jewelry
manufacturers use and have used a finish of Rhodium to
keep a bright polished surface on the
silver. It should be known
that that there needs to be a layer or wash between the
silver to
adhere the Rhodium without damage to the silver. This wash is often
attracted
to a magnet. Sometimes slightly on heavy
silver pieces and more strongly on the
delicate pieces. The metal
Rhodium is more valuable than the silver, so it is not a
devalued
piece unless you just do not like the 'Bright' finish. Rhodium is
also used on
white gold; but the gold does not need that
protective layer to prevent damage from the
plating process. Also
remember there will be a stronger possibly magnetic metal used for
the working parts of some clasps and articulated charms.
