This 2024 Cook Islands Peaks - K2 2oz HR Silver coin is graded a PF70 by NGC and is a First Release. This coin has a limited mintage of 999. The coin comes with a themed display box and certificate of authenticity.

K2, the monumental 3rd mountain of the Peaks series, proudly stands within the Karakorum Range as Earth’s 2nd highest peak, yielding only to the mighty Mt. Everest. The mountain’s formidable presence was first unveiled to the world in 1856 by Colonel T.G. Montgomerie of the Survey of India. Its numerical name, K2, signifies its rank as the 2nd highest summit within the Karakoram Range. Only the most resolute dare to climb one of the world’s most challenging mountains.

The obverse features a right side effigy of King Charles III with the inscriptions "CHARLES III", "10 DOLLARS", "COOK ISLANDS", and the year date "2024".

The reverse features a spectacular High Relief colorized image of K2 with the inscription "K2", and a climbers Ice Axe and K2 height of 8.611m.
