Item Description :​

This is a vintage Japanese pottery vase of Hagi ware, which was made by a great potter, Yasuo Yamato (1933-) about 50 years ago.

He is one of the greatest potters of modern Hagi ware, who was identified as an important human cultural treasure of Yamaguchi prefecutre, Japan in 1989.

He is one of the greatest Japanese modern Hagi ware's potters.

The signature of the potter is carved on the bottom.  The original wooden storage box with the signature of the potter is also included.
