Antique Drum Set Trap Kit, Slingerland, Leedy Temple Blocks, Hi Hat Cymbals 1920s

As vintage drum collectors know, items like this don’t become available very often.

18x24” bass drum, rope tuned, Slingerland radio king, with head mute pads on both batter and resonate heads, two cymbal stand clamp ons, temple blocks metal clip ons for the wood blocks to slide over, as well as two clamp on bass drum claws. All original, untouched for a century. There is some wear as pictured.

The Leedy temple blocks are in awesome condition , the five blocks are all original, sound like the day they were new. The are attached to their original metal stand with the addition of a triangle holder. Common for a trap kit of this time.

The hi hat stand is a fantastic piece of early engineering, it all folds down very compactly. Works great! The hi hat cymbal and to crash / splash cymbals are also dated to that early time frame. No branding found on the these early brass cymbals however.

Similar, the snare stand also is a great piece of engineered tech for the day. Lightweight yet sturdy and folds up to a nice portable size.
