Roger Moret took the loss (11-2)  The tigers got 2-3 from Frank Howard and Jim Northrup was 1-2 with RBI. Dick Sharon hit his 7th Homer, and Al Kaline hit his 10th homer of the season.  It would be #386 of his 399 regular season homers for Mr. Tiger!!
