This stunning chair is in a very early Carolean style and has a lovely patina.

The chair is a really old and is a characterful piece of history
but it is not perfect and therefore priced for anyone to afford.

The chair is 106 cm tall, with a width of 46 cm and depth of 38 cm,
the seat height is 43 cm.

The chair has very old black-smith style iron work fixes to the back of the barley twist on the back rest
and underneath the seat onto the back legs. - see photos.

The top of the chair is an early replacement to to original crest,
the back of one of the legs has been replaced
and probably the legs have been shortened in its past.

I have treated some old wood worm and had to fix the other barley twist back rest
and small crack on the other side - see photos

The chair is heavy and solid but not to be used in musical chairs !
