Vintage Mephisto W. A. Ives auger brace bit set of 13, complete with original early canvas roll, in very good overall condition. The augers are sized from 4 to 16 (1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 13/16, 7/8, 1"). Stamped on the shafts with the distinctive Mephisto/W.A.Ives stamp and with the numbers. Originally the bits would have have had the tips painted red. The augers have minor wear and appear to have been lightly or little used, with very good tips and minor wear to the shafts. Canvas roll is in good condition with minor wear.
