Vintage Red Ornate Powder Compact 1930s Bakelite?

Not tested for Bakelite but the way the light shines through it, it gives the appearance that it is. A couple small flaws on top, tiny scuffs, worn patch on bottom as pictured. Inside is fairly clean, has never had powder in it. Mirror clear but still with slightest bit of fog around rim and small scuffs marks that are hard to picture.
