Please note this vehicle is classed as under 7.5 tonnes and therefore can be driven on a normal driver's license. Average loaded weight during our ownership has been 6 tonnes; therefore, you can pull a tow-car with ease.

We have owned this Amercian Classic Motorhome since April 2015, 5 owners from new and registered new in the UK in 1990. During our ownership it's had extensive restoration work as listed in detail later in this advert.

This vehicle is powered by the bullet-proof Cummins 6BT 6 cylinder Diesel Engine (totally rebuilt in late 2019) with 4 speed Allison Auto Transmission (no electronics).

The Chassis is OshKosh - for those interested in military vehicles OshKosh have been supplying military vehicles to US Forces for over 100 years, this chassis is also bullet-proof.

When you consider the cost of many of today's Camper & Motorhomes exceeding three to four times the price of this Motorhome classic you will begin to fully understand the value for money....

At 28ft in length it's proven to be ideal in size, we've never been turned away from any Campsite in the UK, a problem that many American Motorhomes can suffer from.

For two adults and a 30kg Labrador, it's been complete luxury. It carries it's own water, grey water & black water tanks onboard. So upon campsite arrival, you simply need to plug in the Power Socket and you're up and running, no messing around with water barrels, pipes and messy things. Typically, you can stay out for 5 days without needing to empty or fill tanks. It has a single AC unit mounted on the roof which is powered by 110v AC via an onboard inverter. The external power socket is 240v standard 16 amp ("blue" plug)(standard for all UK campsites).

The bedroom has double island-style bed and the living area includes a 3-seater sofa that is converts to a pul-out "Rock & Roll" double bed.

We have two sources of heating:

a). 2 oil storage heaters (one for front and one for rear, to be included in the sale) 

b.)12v DC diesel-powered Hot Air system with a remote control hand unit.

During Covid, we were working in the Scottish Highlands (Great Glen area above Loch Ness), in winds of up to 70mph and temperatures below minus 17.5 C. And the Motorhome was fine, NO leaks and it kept us as warm as toast. The roof membrane is in excellent condition.

The vehicle is very straighforward to maintain and can be driven on a standard older UK license. The vehicle weight is approximately 6.3 tonnes and Left Hand Drive (which frankly I find easier on UK roads, especially in towns with pavement risks).

Fitted with One Heavy Duty Starter Battery and two Heavy Duty leisure Batteries supported by a 150 watt Solar Panel.

Firstly, this Motorhome is DUAL Fuel: Diesel & LPG. It's a very simple system: when the Turbo reaches a pre set pressure it opens a LPG valve within the Induction system and provides that added Boost during acceleration. For instance, when you're moving off from traffic lights or accelerating from a roundabout. The system has it's own separate LPG tank, therefore impossible to drain the domestic LPG supply (I learnt that one very early!).
