Rare round silver plated hollow coin or capsule. One side features a leftward facing bust of King Ludwig III Koenig von Bayern, surrounded by his name and title. The artist's name, Richard Klein appears below the bust.

Other other side features the Bavarian coat of arms, including two rampant lions and the inscription “IN TREUE FEST” (German - In Faithfullness) and “BayernThaler 1914/16.
