Pair of very nice Light Amber Satin Slip Shades for the 1930's Moe Bridges Etruscan line of Chandeliers and Sconces.

This pair is gorgeous! They are  almost a century old and present well in a light amber hue, but each shade has a couple of chips shown in the pictures.

On one shade, the chip at the bottom fitter edge would not show at all when installed, and the second chip is a small flake off the top edge (pictures 3 and 4)

On the second shade there is a more sizable chip off the top edge but still follows the shape of the shade. And the second chip is along the fitter edge that will be hidden. (Pictures 5 and 6)

The coloring is very true, but be your own judge if you are matching other lights, as this shade was produced in a very dark, medium, and lighter amber.

Etruscan is a 1930's Line created by Moe Bridges as a bridge that can be used in most decor styles, be it art deco, art noveau, eclectic, victorian or traditional. The MB frames that hold these replacement shades are high quality cast iron with either a burnished gold finish or a brass plated iron. Both versions are lovely with these embossed amber slip shades.

Slip shades normally have some flea bites on the hidden fitter edge, but I am calling out what I consider more notable chips.

They still look great when installed. A flake on a top edge or chip at the bottom of the fitter edge doesn't change the presentation, but it does affect value so I am pricing accordingly.

Less than $100 for shades this nice is a bargain.

Packed for war and shipped with extreme care.  I have never had a single damage claim in 25 years on Ebay. I really care about antique lighting and the preservation of architectural history.

FYI- the Etruscan 5-light chandelier is a gorgeous fixture!  Beautiful in a living room, dining room and bedroom alike. I've seen a pair used in a kitchen for a lot of light, and it makes a stunning entrance. It's one chandelier that's a Home Run every time!! Moe Bridges quality is timeless.
