Beautiful 1920's seed bead crocheted sautoir necklace in black and silverish taupe. This is not a lariat, as it is joined in the center. This is very well crafted with an exacted design of alternating silverish & black beads on the tassels, and black beads bordering the outside of the entire piece. In mint condition with no frays or missing beads/tassels.
Depending on the light, the clear beads vary in color from clear silver to clear tan, but are more silvery in color.
The necklace portion (before the join) is 34" long, the joined section is 1", and the tassel portion is 6.5" with the looped tassles being 2" long.
I have not cleaned this piece, as I leave that to the buyer to decide.
