Vintage Hand Quilted 6 point Star Quilt Kansas Historical Society 1986.

The information about the Kansas Historical Society is safety pinned on the back. When I looked it up, this is what I found on the web.

This was a project that began on Kansas' 125th anniversary in 1986 to document historic Kansas quilts. Nearly 13,000 quilts were documented from all over Kansas. Many of the quilts were also photographed.

This is a beautiful quilt, but she needs a bath.  I don't think she's ever been washed as pencil lines to quilt on are seen.

Random check shows about 7 to  8 stitches per inch.

Storage fold stains noted.

Measures about 79" x 91".

Light pinky lavendar with dark rose border and white back.
