DESCRIPTION

A 19th century rustic Victorian era industrial general store counter tin bin that was used as a tea / coffee dispenser - mercantile display with beautifully aged distressed patina.

DETAILS

Painted black toleware with gilt accents, gold stenciling, and floral decoration, having a lidded top and cylindrical hinged door panel dispenser. Knob on door still present. Door opens and closes easily.


CONDITION:

Good original unrestored antique condition with nicely aged heavily distressed patina. Wear and tear consistent with age and indicative of industrial use, including minor dings, scuffs, scratches and typical finish losses. Rustic heavily patinated interior. Dinged lid does not easily fit top opening.


PERFECT for various types of collectors, as well as for 

decor, restaurant displays, and period set props.
