It’s a set of five vintage Syoyu-bukuro fabrics.

Syoyu-bukuro is in a bag shape. Long time ago, when making Japanese soy sause, put down soy and wheat in this bag and squeezed it. It is dyed with persimmon juice to give strength to the fabric.

So it’s thick like canvas.
