This is a highly detailed diecast metal model of the Corgi Aviation Archive AA48401 Hercules C1K Tanker 1312 Flt Falkland Islands. This 1:144 scale model features a camouflaged military airplane from the RAF Mount Pleasant airfield. The model also includes a stand for display purposes. This collector's item is part of the Corgi Classics series and is a replica specifically designed to represent the 1982 tanker used in the Falkland Islands.

The above is the eBay Artificial Intelligence description and is pretty good.  Anyway, the stuff you really want to know follows below.

The model and box are both in 100% A1 PERFECT CONDITION.

This is a very nice model and inexpensive for a reasonable sized aircraft from the Corgi Aviation Archive range. Being the specific aircraft from 1312 Flight makes it of interest to many unfortunate service personnel.  If you have spent any time down South on one of the worst military peacetime deployments anyone could ever imagine being on, this makes a nice souvenir.  Sort of.  Alternatively, if somebody is leaving your section who had an interminably miserable 4 or 6 months down there then it’s a great leaving gift to really twist the knife in.

Anyway, it is as described and shown in the pictures and a tip top keepsake for anyone who used to fly them, fix them, have a miserable time down the back of them or for some inexplicable reason wants to remember losing 4 months or more of their lives in one of the worst locations on earth.
