I purchased this at an estate sale. The previous owner was a retired telephone company employee.

It appears to be brand new, complete with box and original plastic around two main components...but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it fit properly in the box. Perhaps there were originally 2 boxes and he only kept one? 

Phone is blue and has the cord that runs from the handset to the main part of the phone.  Missing the power cord.  It is NOT the typical cord you "plug & go". This is old school!

I had originally purchased to use at our house when the power goes out (but phone lines still work)....but hubby doesn't like blue and we have cell phones now.  But what if cell service goes out?  

GREAT piece of history....and that's my passion.
