3 BERNARD SMITH LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTS – ST PAUL’S CATHEDRAL, WESTMINSTER ABBEY, NELSON’S COLUMN IN TRAFALGAR SQUARE

On offer are three lithographic prints of illustrations by Bernard Smith Prints – St Paul’s Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square.

All are believed to date from the late 1970s.

All are line drawings. I have seen coloured in versions available on eBay but I have not been able to establish whether Bernard Smith issued coloured versions or whether someone else has coloured those in after acquiring his prints.

One print shows historical Westminster Abbey in London, which dates from 960 AD and is the scene of many coronations, weddings and funerals of the royal families, who have ruled Britain for 1000 years.

A second print shows the world famous St Pauls Cathedral in London, which was designed by Sir Christopher Wren after the 1966 Great Fire of London.

The third one shows Nelson’s Column in the centre of Trafalgar Square in London, which celebrates this iconic Admiral’s defeat of Napoleon’s French fleet on 21st October 1805 at Cape Trafalgar, Spain between Cádiz and the Strait of Gibraltar, which ended the Napoleonic Wars.

None of the prints has been framed, but they would make a great set of framed prints on somebody’s wall.

Size : approx.12.5” x 9” (32 x 22.5 cm) As can be seen from the photos, all are in almost mint condition.

Please see my other adverts, if you are interested in a large range of things, including other prints, a very comprehensive set of sports programmes from 1971 to 2012, including most Wales vs England games and a large number of Twickenham matches.
