These lasts came from the shoe factory in Northamptonshire that were making for M&S. Dates on some of the lasts were early 1970s.

Metal plates at toe and heal.

These are not the polished wooden modern made display items that show no signs of use, these have really been used in manufacture as evidenced by the nail / tack holes from real use. Folds in middle correctly but very stiff. Heavy as meant to be repeatedly used in manufacture.
