This part is written by me: This came out of an old Peavey 1-15 cabinet that I took in trade back in about 2011. It just sat in storage and I never played through the box until about 3 months ago, and it sounded just great at living room volume. Curious as to the nature of the driver, I disassembled the box and discovered this Bag End E-15.  I emailed Bag End with the serial number and they said it was most likely manufactured in 1998. (They are made by Eminence to Bag End's specs.) The guy I got it from said he had not used it very much, and I didn't use it very much either, so this speaker probably doesn't have much mileage on it. It appears to be in excellent condition, and it sounds just fine to my ear. I would have kept it, but I needed a 4 Ohm driver to match the one in my Combo 300.
