On offer is Corgi's Original Omnibus Co. model number 42406 of a Timpsons Bedford VAL three axle

coach with a Plaxton Panorama 1 body, released in 2001.

Only taken out of its packaging to put straight into a display case, this model is in perfect condition and

comes complete with its Limited Edition Certificate showing it to be number 1776 of only 4000

produced worldwide.

Here comes the interesting bit! 

The LE Certificate clearly refers to OM42406, the Timpsons VAL. However, the text above that describes the activities of Yelloway Buses of Rochdale, not Timpsons of Catford, SE London!

The Yelloway VAL model that OOC released in 2005 was OM42410. The main card inside the plastic packaging 

of this model details exactly the story of Timpsons Coaches, not Yelloway!

This model is one of many that I have for sale only because I am drastically reducing the size of my collection.
