Arashi no Yoruni Special Edition [DVD].
One stormy night, Mei the goat escapes to a mountain cabin in total darkness.
Then there was an animal that had escaped into the hut in the same way.
The two cats, who had a crush on each other during their conversation, parted ways with the promise of reuniting.
However, what came to the meeting place was actually Gab, a wolf who ate Mei! The long-selling picture book of the same name published in 94 (written by Yuichi Kimura and illustrated by Hiroshi Abe) is adapted into a film by director Gizaburo Sugii.
It depicts a miraculous friendship between a wolf and a goat, who would otherwise not be able to get along.
Gabu's natural conflict with wanting to eat Mei, and the conflict between the two animals and each other's race, which never acknowledges their friendship, are poked at where they need to go. The
fact that the theme was shown in a fairly straightforward manner should be easy for children to understand.
Personally, I would have liked to see a little more elements of the manga movie.
