Hohner Youth Size Accordian.  It was purchased 1938 and manufactured in Germany.  It has 25 keys and 12 buttons and two body straps.  It includes Case and Song Book.

Each key was tested and sounds what is believed to be the proper note.  It was not tested with a pitch pipe to verify the proper tone.  The bellows appear to provide enough air to sustain volume.  No hissing was noted.  Each button produced a chord.  Again, the proper tone was not verified.

Both body straps are sound and serviceable.   The netting on all the body openings is intact.  There is slight loss of the paper on the sides of the bellows.

The case is in very good overall shape.  All the joints are tight, and the handle, while slightly discolored, is strong.  There are several places on the corners that the leather is pulled back.  The interior covering is intact and bright.

Included is a  song book that has some writing inside.

The accordion is dusty and would benefit from a light cleaning.

The item is from a smoke free home and has ben kept in temperature controlled storage.
