Vintage French towel rack, wood

holder.  White enamel labels with four

hooks, these were classics in French

kitchens.  Note the unusual design

on the hooks. Rack has the original finish,

beveled edges 

and is In great vintage condition.

I love how towels were used for specific

purposes as printed on the rack

above the four hooks:

"Mains":  Hands

"Assiettes": Plates

"Couverts": Cutlery

"Verres":  Glasses

Hooks affixed for ready, easy to hang.

Interestingly, the label of "Verres" has the

most wear which tells me that hook for

the specific towel was used most frequently.

Also makes a wonderful key rack, utensil

rack, jewelry, holder, etc.
